1912 | St. John’s Hall founded by Church Missionary Society on the site of the present St. Paul’s College, Bonham Road University Hall (located in Main Building) later renamed Lugard Hall N.B. this University Hall is different from current University Hall. |
1913 | Lugard Hall (originally named University Hall) opens. The first University-managed Hall: demolished 1992 Morrison Hall (male): Halton Road – closed 1968, rebuilt at 109 Pokfulam Road 2005 Founded by the London Missionary Society |
1914 | Eliot Hall (male): closed in 1992 |
1915 | May Hall (male): closed in 1992 |
1923 | St. Stephen’s Hall (female): merged with St. John’s in 1955 Founded by the Church Missionary Society |
1929 | Ricci Hall (male); rebuilt in 1967. 93 Pokfulam Road Founded by the Society of Jesus (the Jesuit order) |
